Melbourne Fringe Festival taking place next month

The independent arts festival, Melbourne Fringe takes place from the 18th September to the 6th October, offering a range of different forms including comedy, music, circus and dance.

The events will take place in a myriad of different venues across the cities from tiny bars to high-profile locations. Full details of the line-up is expected to be revealed on the 7th August, but highlights from last year included an opera based on the re-enactment of the British colonisation of Australia, a performance of Sylvia Plath’s work, and a party celebrating 30 years independent art in Melbourne.
