If you’re mad on cricket then now is the time to start making preparations to go Down Under to see the ICC Cricket World Cup. It takes place in New Zealand and Australia over the course of a month and a half from 14 February 2015, finishing with the dramatic final in Sydney on 29 March 2015.
This will be just the eleventh World Cup series, with the event taking place every four years – so you really should make preparations now if you want to see the whole event, or just catch a few games.
It’s been announced that England will be playing in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide in Australia, and Wellington and Christchurch in New Zealand. The match at Christchurch looks set to be popular with Brits as they play Scotland on 23 February 2015, while their match in Melbourne will be played against the home team of Australia, a team they have old rivalries with.
Getting to Australia couldn’t be easier. Major airlines like Virgin and Qantas fly to Sydney, and from there you can hop to the other cities using a regional airline like Jetstar or Air New Zealand. This is the most preferable option as there is some back and forth between matches, and driving takes several hours.
The only other thing you will need to remember is your visa! An ETA Tourist Visa is the one you will need to apply for, and it allows you to stay in Australia for up to three months – more than enough time to catch all the World Cup matches and see some of the sights too.
We won't charge you if you need to amend your Visa, or if Embassy referral is required.
Visas are issued within 24 hours or less with a straight forward and secure payment system.
We’ve been doing this for a while and with over 200,000 happy customers, you know you’re in safe hands.
