An ideal way to get work experience
As work is becoming increasingly difficult to find for the under-24 market, these eight placements are an ideal way to get more experience in the workplace and they offer an exciting addition to any CV.
Managing Director for STA Travel UK Glen Mintrim said: “Gaining quality meaningful work experience is crucial to today’s employment market. There is a huge competition for every job vacancy and so having something like a month long placement in Australia on your CV will really help you stand out from the crowd.”
Karren Brady also added that if she was under 30 she would “grab this opportunity with both hands,” adding that it’s an “irresistible combination.”
Along with the great experience of working abroad, the opportunity highlights the fantastic experiences on offer in south Australia, with most of the opportunities based away from the traditional and popular tourist hotspots of Melbourne and Sydney.
