To meet the requirements for the second Working Holiday visa, applicants will need to continue to meet the criteria for a Working Holiday visa, and have evidence of their three months of employment as a seasonal worker in regional Australia.
If you apply in Australia, you must be in Australia when the visa is granted. If you apply outside Australia, you must be outside Australia when the visa is granted.
You must complete this form to verify your employment history and email to john.mahon@visas4oz.co.uk before we can proceed with your application.
Second Working Holiday visa applications may be made from either in or outside Australia.
For second Working Holiday visa applications made outside Australia, working holiday makers must enter Australia within 12 months from the date of visa grant and are permitted a stay of 12 months from the date of initial entry to Australia regardless of whether or not they spend the whole period in Australia.
For second Working Holiday visa applications made in Australia, the length of stay permitted depends on the type of visa held at the time of application. If the applicant holds a first Working Holiday visa when they apply, their second Working Holiday visa will permit them a total stay in Australia of 24 months from the date they first arrived on their first Working Holiday visa. If the applicant holds any other type of visa when they apply, their second Working Holiday visa will allow them a stay of 12 months from the date of grant.
Working holiday makers who intend on applying for a second Working Holiday visa will need evidence of the length of time they have spent working as a seasonal worker in regional Australia. Before starting seasonal work in a regional area, working holiday makers should obtain a copy of Form 1263 Working Holiday visa: Employment verification from Visas4oz.
Working holiday makers, who have worked as a seasonal worker in an eligible regional Australian area for a minimum of three months while on their first Working Holiday visa, will be eligible to apply for a second Working Holiday visa.
Seasonal work and regional Australia, for the purposes of the second Working Holiday visa, are defined below

Plant and animal cultivation:

Regional Australia
Regional Australia is restricted to areas within the postcodes listed on the department’s web site.

Seasonal work completed in areas that do not fit within the department’s definition of Regional Australia cannot be counted towards the requirement.
