To celebrate World Oceans Day, the Queensland tourist board and James Cook University organised a live 12 hour stream of a dive to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Australia Named Best Place to Live and Work

For the third year running Australia has been named the best place to live and work in the OECD Better Life Index.

This comes after the UK was only ranked number 10 in the index. Australia has a happiness score of 7.2 out of 10, with the average being 6.6, plus a life expectancy of 82 years- two years above the average.

Australia is one of the most popular destinations for ex-pats to go on a working holiday, and it’s easy to see why, with the statistics showing that Australia is really one of the most satisfied countries in the world. (more…)
