There’s no wonder Queensland was the second popular choice for reader’s, as this stunning destination is indescribably beautiful and boasts the most spectacular scenery, along with plenty to see and do.
3. Melbourne – Readers’ Choice Rating: 74.6
It’s no surprise that Melbourne is lurking at the top of the list for the best city in Australia, thanks to its innovative flare, cultural diversity and historic background. 4. Auckland – Readers’ Choice Rating: 71.7
The rolling green hills and volcanic islands of Auckland contributed to this picturesque city’s score of 71.7. Auckland also scored a fab 74% for lodging, making in the fourth best place in terms of accommodation.
5. Margaret River – Readers’ Choice Reading: 69.1
The peaceful aura of Margaret River scored it over 90% for ambience, making it the perfect choice for those looking for a tranquil getaway for a spot of relaxation. Despite only claiming a score of 26.9 for shopping, its delectable restaurants make Margaret River a great place for dining in style.
